Gifts for Women

Day 4:

I personally loves these types of posts because I usually have no idea what to get the opposite sex. So if you have a guy in your life or you are a guy who is clueless, read this.

Now, I can not speak for all women because I think the one thing the world can agree on is that women are complex. Even as woman its frustrating trying to figure out other women...anyways according to PS. I Love You, Holly, shares a secret to Daniel which I feel is true; her secret was that "we (women) have no idea what we want". So with that lets get started! Ha!

3 Gifts that She might like...

-Gift Card: Women mostly just appreciate when someone just puts thought into something, so just getting her a gift card says "this took me 5 min". Where as, even if you get one of those gift card boxes that looks like a gift, it says "I put 10 min of thought into this". If you write her a note that says "buy that thing you've been wanting with free money"that says "15 min of thought!". Does this make sense?

-Simplicity is Bliss: Sure, you could get her 5 to 100 gifts but there's usually just one that will stand out more than all the rest. People like to feel like the words that are coming out of their mouth are actually heard, right? So take some time to hear her values. My mom for instance, values being warm, so she asks for slippers. To some people that might be a lame gift, but to her, its everything because she wears them 365 days a year. Know her values.

-Using Your Hands: Hopefully people find this to be true. I find that I make friends who are super talented, especially artists. I love it when a friends draws me a picture, or even if its a bad drawing, I love it!

So what did we learn? Get to know the person your buy/getting/making a gift for. Or you could just ask them...
