Flashback to 1999, My second-grade classroom. As some may know, I went to a private Christian school and the campus was not like any other school. 1st-4th grades were in a modular just down the hill from the main building. So all the classrooms had an exit door other than the main entrance to the modular. My second-grade class consisted of 4 students, including myself. Kayla, Alexa, Jason and I.

It was a winter day when Kayla tells our teacher that she wasn't feeling well. Mrs. Collier asks her to wait 10 min, then on recess she can go to the bathroom. Kayla says she can wait and her tummy is rumbling, so Mrs. Collier goes into her desk and tells Kayla to drink some Peptobismal to tide her over before recess. Not even a minute goes by when Kayla runs to the back door, throws it open and all I can see is pink spewing from her mouth. Alexa runs over to see if she ok, see's the pink puke in the snow and starts to spew herself. The smell is rising and Jason grabs a trash can and starts to hurl. The smell is so strong that I open my desk and throw up into the desk. Mrs. Collier grabs her own trash can and starts to spew. Our Principal walks into our classroom as the recess bell is ringing to find us all spewing and he yells "Mrs. Collier, what in God's name?!" The next thing I know my parents are picking me up and I didn't have to go to school the next day!
