Week 1:
definition of Jet Lag: extreme tiredness and other physical effects felt by a person after a long flight across different time zones.
I've been so excited to come to England that I thought that once I landed, the jet lag wouldn't be so bad, I was wrong. I had 4 seats on the plane all to my self and I'm laying there thinking "just fall asleep" over and over, to a point where after 5 hours of being on the plane, I only had 3 hours left and there was no point. I took sleeping pills and drank lots water and some wine, but I was just to excited.

Neil and Amanda have been wonderful hosts to me while I've been here! We have been to lots of beautiful cities and Im a little overwhelmed at the craftsmanship of the buildings; seriously these people just walk through these towns like its so normal for some building to be 1000 year old. I just feel blessed to be here. Im overwhelmed and tired but in the best way! We have been all over the south of England it seems but so stunning to watch the fog on the hills.

We went to Bath to see the roman bath houses that if you can believe it, still work. We drank from some safe water of the pools and it tasted like iron, but its supposed to be lucky so I made a wish. We then made our way over to Bristol, where Neil's sister and brother -in law live and they gracious took us in and were such wonderful host's! They showed us all around Bristol and I tried my first sausage roll and then Rachael said it was good; haha but it really was amazing!

We made it back to Abington Sunday and on Monday we went back into Oxford and had a wonderful time enjoying High Tea. Im excited for what this week is going to bring and for the blessing God has in store for us!
